They use this text: "Alert: Dear user, your card was used to make a transaction of $387.2. order#186129. Contact Customer Support 18002150263 if you wish to cancel." Supposedly making the call from 1-575-777-2457. First, they are spoofing an american number, but american businesses would not address it as "Alert" just to see "if you wish to cancel." They would use "Alert" only if it they say it was suspicious activity. Second, no american business would use the phrase "Dear user". Third, americans would not use "$387.2" they would use both decimal places, $387.20. Fourth, they do not say which card or where it was used, because they intend to get your card number from you if you call back. In addition they probably charge huge per minute fees to call.

They used a zero instead of an O on the word order and did not provide what company they are from and the phone number does not come up as a company listed phone number. SCAM & SPAM
