They called from a German IP number but the told me that their location was Osaka City in Japan. The reason was to offer me a profitability business or similar. They wanted my email and pushed for it. They knew my name.

I had a run-in with "these guys" a couple years ago, lost money to them. I cut contacts, but they are still trying to get back to me about once a month with different company names and different people calling. Don't listen to a word they are saying, just hang up. They will probably call you back once more immediately. Cancel the call. Not worth a second.
