First a voice mail said I was involved with a criminal investigation and I would be directed talk with an official. After that I get directed to the "official cop". He said he is from Germany police but he doesn't speak German (He seems to have an indian accent). He asked my name and I asked more information about the call. His story didn't make sense so I didn't believe him and I hanged up. He called again with another number and he threaten me to "not mess with him". Please do not believe this person and don't give your data.

First they called anonymously and told me that various bank accounts had been opened in my name. Through these bank accounts, 40,000 € were transferred to Mexico and Colombia. When I asked why they were calling me in English and not asking the German police for assistance, I was told that it was a German who was wanted. They wanted bank details, account balances. They also wanted to freeze the accounts and keep the money in the Ministry of Justice until the case was solved. About 2-3 years. On my objection that this would not work, they wanted to come to my home the next day, bring me a new ID card, have a new account opened and I would get a cheque for the amount of my account. I could then cash the cheque for the new account. After I asked for a phone number, which they then sent me, I immediately ended the call after checking the no. His name was given as officer Robert Robinson.

Auch bei mir handelte es sich um einen Fakeanruf von Europol. Zu Beginn hörte ich am anderen Ende eine Roboterstimme, die mir mitteilte, dass es um gestohlene persönliche Daten in Verbindung mit Drogen- und Geldgeschäften mit Kolumbien und Mexiko geht. Um mehr herauszufinden, müsse man die 1 drücken. Dann meldete sich eine Frau, die sich als Europol-Beamtin ausgab. Das gesamte Gespräch fand auf Englisch statt. Als mir die Frau dann später sagte, dass mein Konto eingefroren werden müsste und ich nicht mehr an mein Geld kommen würde, kam mir das ganze doch sehr seltsam vor. Sie gab als Alternative an, meinen Fall an die deutsche Polizei weiterzuleiten, aber da müsste ich mit 72Stunden Gewahrsam rechnen und mich selbst um einen Anwalt kümmern, den sie mir direkt gestellt hätten. Tipp: Gleich auflegen.

SCAM-Anruf. Hatte gerade Zeit und habe deren Spiel etwa 45 Min. mitgemacht, damit sie in der Zeit zumindest niemandem sonst Geld stehlen dürfen. Am Ende war die Frau fasziniert, auf mich hereingefallen zu sein und ich hatte viel Spaß. Würde es wieder tun. Wer es auch versuchen möchte: niemals echte persönliche Infos nennen (Name, Arbeitgeber, Bankdaten, ...) und spätestens an der Stelle abbrechen, an der sie sich per Anydesk mit dem Computer verbinden möchten.

I got that same call as written in the comments. A person from EUROPOL is calling me, identity fraud, drug trafficking, resident accounts in Berlin. The story: The government needs a prove and I have to buy google play cards up to the limit of my bank account. She wanted to hold the line till I got to the store (Rossmann) and I was not supposed to speak with anybody. I was stressed and almost followed as said. Luckily I googled the number before I left the house. I wondered why they do not work with the national police together, but with Rossmann and Google... As I told them that I would only cooperate with the national police they hang up the line. They got my data as well, but nothing sensitive. Lesson I learned: Even when EUROPOL is calling, take time, ask questions and stay suspicious. Almost got trapped. I already had my shoes on... I hope you stayed safe!

Gleiche Story wie hier schon mehrfach geschildert: Der erste Anruf kam von einer deutschen Handynummer (+49157854482), die Dame hat sich als Interpol Mitarbeiterin ausgegeben, meine ID wäre im Kontext mehrerer krimineller Aktivitäten registriert worden (Drogen etc.), 5 Minuten später kam dann der Anruf von dieser Nummer hier, dieses Mal ein Herr von "Europol", der sehr aggressiv aufgetreten ist und Drohkulissen aufgemacht hat, sollte ich nicht kooperieren (wollte wissen, wie viele Bankkonten ich hätte, bei welcher Bank ich sei, wieviel Geld dort läge... ) als ich skeptisch wurde und die Fragen nicht beantworten wollte, meinte er, ich solle unter Maps doch nach Europol suchen und unter "Info" dort die Nummer abgleichen - die hat tatsächlich übereingestimmt... ich hab dann zum Glück relativ schnell aufgelegt. Trotzdem - das nimmt einen mit und ich kann mir vorstellen, dass es durchaus Menschen gibt, die sich aufgrund des Drucks, der hier aufgebaut wird, vielleicht sogar trotz besseren Wissens verunsichern lassen...

This number called (+31 70 302 50 00) saying his name is Patrick William and that he is from the europol and he said you can go and check and gave me the official website wich also shows this number, he got angry when I didn’t believe him and he told me not to infrom any third person and that if I don’t cooperate with him he is gonna issue arrest warrant that the police will come and take me to investigation, long story, someone in the comments mentioned that the money was wired to Mexiko and all that , he told me the same talk , be aware, I contacted the police after that call and they said this is a fraud

Ich hatte auch einen Anruf zuvor von 0176383932 angeblich Polizei irgendwo england um mir mitzuteilen das meine Identy - Karte benutzt wurde um Drogengeschäfte und wäre in sämtlichen Kontodaten aufzufinden mit Drogengeld Danach kam ein Anruf angeblich von European Haedquarters Simon Baron der mir sagte mein Konto würde gesperrt werden ich soll alles geld abheben und bei Rossmann mir eine Federal Security Karte hole die es im übrigen nicht gibt. ich habe keine Passnummer oder kontonummer hergegeben und es bei der Polizei gemeldet und auch meine Bank informiert..... bitte aufpassen

Frist from a German number, someone inpersonating a german federal police called to tell me my identity was used for drug traficking with Mexico and Colombia. Afterwards I got call from this Europol number telling all my accounts were going to be frozen and I should send money to a temporary "safe" account. I denounced it to the local police in Germany.

Mir wurde ebenfalls erzählt, dass angeblich Drogengeschäft und Geldwäsche unter meinem Namen gelaufen seien. Ebenfalls zuerst von einer deutschen Nummer angerufen worden (+49 176802437) die Frau hat sich als Angestellte von Interpol ausgegeben und mich dann an Ihren "Vorgesetzten" weitergeleitet der mich unter dieser Nummer angerufen hat und mir die exakt selbe Story von fremden konnten in Mexiko unter meinem Namen erzählt hat...

Gibt sich als Europol aus und verlangt sein komplettes Geld auf eine Google play Karte zu laden. Europol ruft nie einfach so an, also nicht drauf rein fallen, auch wenn sie einen Angst machen, dass deine Identität gestohlen worden ist und in deinem Namen Geldwäsche und Drogenhandel betrieben wird. Alles fake. Nachdem ich aufgelegt habe, probierten sie mich 42 mal anzurufen!

Wegen angeblicher Drogendelikte, will "Europol" das man sich in seine Bank einloggt. Also wer drauf reinfällt ist echt selber schuld. Aber endlich habe ich auch mal so einen Anruf bekommen. hab mich gute 10 Minuten lang köstlich amüsiert. Waren echt nett, die Indischen Mitarbeiter des Call centers.
