I had a call from a woman claiming to be a agent at CRA but did not tell me her badge number. She told me she was calling from a home office and was using her cell phone. I told her nothing than called the 1800 # for Canada Revenue Agency. They told me that the name does exist for one of their agents. But they did not have the cell # she called me from on file. More importantly her cell phone # was not connected to the CRA. BEWARE THIS IS SCAM.

A female caller claimed to work at the CRA by using the name Maima Kamara. I phoned the CRA and requested a confirmation for the number 613-299-8593 that was provided by the caller. The CRA was not able to confirm the number.

Caller claimed to work at the CRA by using the name Maima Kamara. I phoned the CRA and requested to speak to this person and she did not have a telephone extension at the CRA and the CRA was not able to confirm the number was one of there's. The number 613-299-8593 comes back to a cell phone and not the Government of Canada.
