A female voice with a heavy Asian accent called to ask if it was a particular company answering her call. She had the company name right. Obviously some kind of direct marketing. Since I have handed out many of my visit cards at the Aero Friedrichshafen fair some years ago, such calls and also spam on the company e-mail occurs frequently. TBH, there are often ppl collecting visit cards on Aero Friedrichshafen and other German fairs, without showing any particular interest in the exhibited products. Spam and marketing purposes only. Is this the way how "business" is done in Germany nowadays? Gimme a break.

Phone call from Asia - probably India. A classic annoying call from the call center. A female voice in English (with a strong dialect) addressed me by name and surname - where do they get the number from ?! - and allegedly a survey on how people here invest in the stock market ... after 30 seconds I hung it up.

Trying to connect with the higher man position in the company coz she has confidential business with him. Then when I said the name she asked is no longer in the company, I asked her if she want to speak with my manager. She ask me if, she or he then I said she is a lady, then suddenly told me I am busy now I will call again later.
