says you have important documents that need to be served and they will serve them at your house or job if you don't call and work it out with them. Thing is I don't have any debt and have a perfect credit score.

Michelle claiming to be from Rapid Delivery called me and my wife from a "Restricted" number to leave this number for me to call back. Says they have important documents for me to be delivered but needed my address number on my street (knew street name) so they could deliver. Called back and was connected to a man that would not tell me his name. He had my SS# and I asked how he had that. He said by law he couldn't answer any questions (likely excuse). He told me I owed a debt on a credit card and wanted to give me a chance to settle before his company filed suit in my county (knew that to). I told him he he was outside of the statute of limitations, he lied and said that account had charges in October 2021. I told him that was impossible and he hung up on me

Since I have lived at this address 35 years, somewhat stupid of him. Next said if I don't call back they would be forced to send the info to my employer, Wow, I am self-employed from my home address. He left a case number #1580677. I immediately searched the phone number and found in the Whitepages "No Owner Found" and searched 245 times in 30 days. Whitepages states "High frequency search and No owner may indicate spam" Also in Red lettering "Potential Spam".

Got a call from a unknown number which I didn't answer. Left a voice mail message which was very hard to understand but I got a transcript of it: "Hi this is an urgent message getting a delivery for (Name) we're trying to get some documents out to the requires a trailer to check out from time so we have questions on address at (Street Name) we're trying to garage your place of employment so this is very important that you contact agent is got this message was 833-996-3565 reference number: 000-0000..." The message may not be exact translation as it was very difficult for me to understand what the caller (male) was saying but I'm sure it's close.

Claimed to have important documents, however when I gave the reference number from the voice mail, someone from the "legal department" claimed it was illegal to discuss the matter until they received more information. Having a legal background myself, I spotted the fact that this was a scam that some company tries to buy up old written off claims and then attempts to intimidate individuals into paying up or face legal action. There IS no legal action as what they are doing IS illegal. DON'T FALL FOR THE PRESSURE AND INTIMIDATION. Just hang up.
