I believe this is a legitimate number with Booking.com, but am not 100% certain. I needed assistance with a hotel reservation and called the official 1-888 number provided on Booking’s website. A man answered my call and said he would assist, but put me on hold while he called the hotel in question. While I was on hold, the call dropped. I believe this is a legitimate number with Booking.com, but am not 100% certain. I needed assistance with a hotel reservation and called the official 1-888 number provided on Booking’s website. A man answered my call and said he would assist, but put me on hold while he called the hotel in question. While I was on hold, the call dropped. Immediately I got a call from this number in Singapore (+65 6422 4930), and it was the same guy helping me with my enquiry. Booking’s 1-888 number apparently re-routes to this number for customer service. So, I think it’s legitimate. The only thing making me wary is the customer service agent was engaging in dialogue that didn’t seem normal: he repeated that his best friend had a similar name as mine, but died several years ago and this made him sad. Cultural differences, perhaps?

This is a legitimate number associated with Booking.com. I reached out to Booking to resolve a disputed charge on my credit card and got a call back on this number (+65 6422 4930) from a customer service agent. My dispute was later resolved entirely in my favor. About 30 minutes after my conversation with the man from this number, I received an online survey from Booking.com, asking me to rate the customer service agent and even provided the same agent’s name the man gave me over the phone.

This is actually from Booking.com in Singapore. I missed the call, but got an email at the same time regarding a booking we had made in Tasmania and cancelled, so likely is legit BTW ... You can't return a call to this number (I did try)
