Called pretending to be Concast, stating my modem had been hacked and wanted to assist me in raising the security level on the modem. After a lengthy conversation, I felt uncomfortable and hung up. He called back, got voice mail and when checking my message, a large red banner appeared stating it was a scam call. It gave me the actual phone number where the original call had been identified as Xfinity/Comcast's number. I later learned it was from Belize. The voice message stated he would be cutting my service for 48 hours so that they could manually reset the security on my modem. Call to Comcast revealed no one had called me or made notation to the same.
Great & Thank You!
