I wanted to register on one of the curses that Shaw Academy was offering and the the first month it is suppose to be free trial but during registration you needed to fill in payment method which I thought for the free course was odd and didn't proceed registering. Moments later I was called by this number and when I answer they said they were from Shaw Academy. the guy asked me why I decided not to register and I sad that I didn't feel comfortable to give the company my card details for the free course. Than he asked me weather I was Georgian (the country) and could he talk to me in Georgian, witch caught me by surprise, because this is foreign company and the number was clearly not from my country. I asked him if they had a base in Georgia and he said that they did not and I was actually first Georgian that he encountered. He assured me that it was totally safe to register my card and I could remove it right away after the registration was completed, so I did (quite stupid of me...). After registration I got suspicions and googled this number and to my surprise I found very disturbing comments and clams towards it, which scared me and I started googling more, this time about Shaw Academy and weather or not they are scamming people and I found so many stories. Right away I went to my account and proceeded to delete my card but the website doesn't have that option at all (you can change one card to another but you cannot fully delete it from their system, as I was assured by the caller previously!) DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PRIVAT INFORMATION THEY ARE SCAMMERS! P.S this is one of the pages I came across which explains in dental that they are scamming people all over the world ---> https://www.shawacademyscam.com/ P.P.S I had to cancel and change my card in order to protect myself, because their membership cancellation is very confusing and they don't even send you the account cancelation email afterwards to leave you confused. Shaw Academy...they cannot take no for an answer and will call you from different numbers. Sounds like a narcissist stalking people until they give in to the scam they want to sell. Block the number, too many bad reviews out there about you getting conned out of your money and not being able to cancel once they have your banking details just because you wanted to learn something.

I also, uh, registered at the Shaw academy for a free course, but since I asked for my card details, so I stopped registering, since then I received this mail several times from them, and I responded to it, I would like to ask to delete my registration, my registration still has not been deleted but they keep calling me, which is getting very disturbing for her day, I get phone calls from several places from Massachusetts and Britain, which is very annoying, I've already written to them to delete my registration and I don't give my card details, but they still haven't been deleted and constantly. And I still get the emails, but I don't get any meaningful response to the fact that I might be deleting my registration, but they just tell me to confirm the registration. I don't understand it at all. That exhausts the concept of harassment.

I was watching a movie and its call appeared in my screen. At first, I thought it was part of the movie but then I checked the notification and it was really me that it was calling. I tried remembering my mother's number since she's also out of the country yet the code isn't similar to the one that she usually use so I assumed it's from another country and researched about the number. I received a call minutes after I downloaded an app, too. The app doesn't look suspicious at all since it has good reviews. I'll just be more careful next time. Keep safe!
