I was contacted by a lady calling herself Vanessa and she said she was contracted by Frederick County Process Servers to deliver me court documents to appear in court. I was to call back and talk to someone called Anthony Brown and to do it asap to avoid getting a failure to appear charge. I actually called the ONLY process server in my county and spoke with him in depth and he said a process server would have a business name, and not just call themselves “process servers”. I know it’s a scam because I have NOTHING outstanding that would require me to appear in court. She also said they tried delivering the papers to my address and they were returned undeliverable, which I also know is wrong because I’ve lived at my current address for almost 11 years and anyone that would have something for me to appear in court about, would know my address. IT IS A SCAM CALL!
