Highly suspicious call claiming to be KIC (Korea Investment Corporation). The lady spoke in a Philippine accent and identified herself as Olivia Diaz. She asked for a CEO of our company by name. When I asked for her contact details, she could not provide a telephone number or e-mail address. I would highly doubt that this is more than a scam. KIC is operated by the federal government of Korea; its contact information is easily found on its official website.

Man wollte natürlich meine Mailadresse und (für das Infomaterial) meine Postanschrift haben. Eine Folgeanruf hat man mir auch angekündigt, den habe ich aber dankend abgelehnt.

Die Nummer ruft aktuell fast jeden Tag über die Telefonzentrale an, nennt keinen Firmennamen und möchte einen noch relativ neuen Mitarbeiter sprechen, der aber keine Verbindung nach Korea hat. Manchmal ist es eine weibliche und manchmal eine männliche Stimme. Wenn man nicht durchstellt und nachfragt, ob sie eine Nachricht für den Kollegen lassen wollen, wird einfach aufgelegt.
