I've got 3 text messages from "FACEBOOK" in the morning with code numbers to verify my phone number on WhatsApp. I don't use WhatsApp, so the messages went straight to trash and got deleted. Later that day, someone called 5 times, and with checking the phone number, I found this website. So I guess it's multiple issues, Phishing as well as spam. Number's blocked now.

Ich muss meine vorherige Bewertung korrigieren, lässt sich leider nicht löschen. Die Rufnummer ist von WhatsApp. Will man WhatsApp auf einem anderen Gerät mit derselben (eingenen) Rufnummer installieren, erhält man über die WhatsAppnummer einen Prüfcode zur Verifizierung.

Mehrfache Anrufe mitten in der Nacht und zuletzt mittags auf einer Geheimnummer, die niemandem bekannt ist, es wird ein Whatsapp Verifizierungscode genannt. Offenbar wird versucht, für die (Geheim-)Nummer einen Whatsapp Account zu verifizieren, dies wurde von mir aber niemals angefordert. Vermutlich ist der Plan, darüber kriminelle Machenschaften laufen zu lassen und die Strafverfolgung landet dann beim Anschlussinhaber.
