I called the number and they were trying to tell me they were Amazon, even though that's not what the text said. She was very defensive when I tried to ask what credit card was being charged, etc. I told her that i felt like something fishy was going on and she got very defensive and said, I am the only one that can help you. I hung up.

Text stated: "Dear customer Your 0RDER#136928 is confirmed, you will be charged $854.59 from your card. Call Arnazon Support 18556215861 now to cancel". I checked my Amazon account and there was no order with that number or an order for $854.59. I then re-read the message and noticed that order is spelled with a zero instead of an "o" and the name of the company is ARNAZON which with lower case letters the r and the n together look like an "m" to make it look like Amazon. DO NOT TRUST THIS and DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER PROVIDED. It's definitely a scam.

Text message said my Amazon Card was being charged $8874.12 and I should call this number. Order # was very short, 6 digits, not an Amazon order #. Wanted me to go to the Playstore to download something. I wouldn't do it and said I'd call Amazon directly to which the polite lady from the "fraud unit" said " F K you".

My husband got a text saying that $629.39 was being charged to my Amazon charge card and to call 855-621-5861 regarding order number 165885. I was suspicious since the Amazon account is under my name only and there is no record of my husband's phone number on my account. I called anyway. Clara (whose English was very hard to understand) said that an I-pad was charged to my account and they suspected fraud on my account. Clara then asked my where I was calling from and what device I was using. When I asked her why she needed to know she said she needed to verify who I was. When I told her I suspected she was scamming me she got very defensive and denied it. I told her if this was legit then send me an email with the information so I have documentation on this issue.
